In the Citaaaaaay w/ Peter Pan Review

On Saturday July 24th, me and the gang (except daddy, I don't know why) went to none other than San Francisco to watch Peter Pan under the big regal white tent near Embarcadero (I hope I'm spelling that correctly) Center. First off, I absolutely love the city. I don't know why but I've always love 'Frisco since before I can remember. I like how you feel so small and all the pretty colors and lights and birdies! There were a bunch of little vendors outside of the Theatre tent and one where we found the most beautiful mask for my sister! Oh, I wish I had a picture to show you:(! Anyways, just try to imagine a deep deep green with sheet music and notes on the cheeks with an old Italian bridgeway for the gondalas and SPARKLIES!!! I think I was sold on the sparklies. So then we went on a tour of the Peter Pan production with all the behind the scenes stuff which was very interesting and made me wanna read the book so bad (I already requested it at the library though, so we're all good). Then we went shopping at the 3 story Forever21 where I found the cuuuuutes pair of shoes EVER in my lifetime which will be my new school shoes (for $12 mind you), and a slouchy red stripe top for $8 which made me happy happy happy! And finally at 7 o'clock p.m, it was showtime.

I don't think I blinked once through the whole thing. The actors were phenominal. Personally Peter was the absolute best Peter there could possibly be. I do say, you automatically just fall victim to his charm and performance. And Wendy was extremely fantastic as well. Peter and her worked so well together. And who could forget Tinkerbell??? She was played by a beautiful-yet-inpronouncable-named gal and did and absoluetely outstanding performace. You could always tell that she was very loving of Peter and she cared for him more than anything else while he starts to show Neverland to his new friends. Plus, you could always see the jealousy between Tink and Wendy, but it was always innocent. You really start to fall in love for these characters and become a child again, even though, I've always been one ;). I don't want to give too much away but I highly reccommend it because I absolutely (gosh 4 times I used the word "absolutely"? Really?) loved it but then again, I love everything I see. Right now, I have gone into hermit mode and hid myself away in my room listening to the soundtrack which of course, I love . And I should be getting the book by JM Barrie when school starts. Can't wait to go to another production!!! I'm such a theatre dork.

Much Love,
MNT

  1. Your so lucky! Oh and I bought the dark blue version of that striped top you got from F21. Oh and I wish you do show those buys.
