A Shot of Blog

Since it is approximately 8:30 in the morning and I am upstairs with my computer until lunchtime (don't ask), I decided to search up "card dress" in Google Images. Here's what caught my eye:

I clicked into it and it turns out, the woman who made this was a fellow blogger. Her blog name is Robin Barcus Slonia ARTWORK "States of Dress" so go check her out so I don't feel like a jerk for showing her work without her permission. I found two others that really made me smile so here they are ta-daa!

The Beach Ball Dress

And for the grand finale, The Easter Egg Dress

Nice right? That'd be an awesome Halloween costume. I'm flippin' out about what to be this year cause I wanna make my costume or find it at some nobody-knows-about vintage store. Anyways, I'll be here all morning like I said so I'll be all over the internet. Ohmigosh, it's so early=(.

PS
I didn't know what to title this post and 'A Shot of Blog' sounds like a gross kind of scotch.

In the Citaaaaaay w/ Peter Pan Review

On Saturday July 24th, me and the gang (except daddy, I don't know why) went to none other than San Francisco to watch Peter Pan under the big regal white tent near Embarcadero (I hope I'm spelling that correctly) Center. First off, I absolutely love the city. I don't know why but I've always love 'Frisco since before I can remember. I like how you feel so small and all the pretty colors and lights and birdies! There were a bunch of little vendors outside of the Theatre tent and one where we found the most beautiful mask for my sister! Oh, I wish I had a picture to show you:(! Anyways, just try to imagine a deep deep green with sheet music and notes on the cheeks with an old Italian bridgeway for the gondalas and SPARKLIES!!! I think I was sold on the sparklies. So then we went on a tour of the Peter Pan production with all the behind the scenes stuff which was very interesting and made me wanna read the book so bad (I already requested it at the library though, so we're all good). Then we went shopping at the 3 story Forever21 where I found the cuuuuutes pair of shoes EVER in my lifetime which will be my new school shoes (for $12 mind you), and a slouchy red stripe top for $8 which made me happy happy happy! And finally at 7 o'clock p.m, it was showtime.

I don't think I blinked once through the whole thing. The actors were phenominal. Personally Peter was the absolute best Peter there could possibly be. I do say, you automatically just fall victim to his charm and performance. And Wendy was extremely fantastic as well. Peter and her worked so well together. And who could forget Tinkerbell??? She was played by a beautiful-yet-inpronouncable-named gal and did and absoluetely outstanding performace. You could always tell that she was very loving of Peter and she cared for him more than anything else while he starts to show Neverland to his new friends. Plus, you could always see the jealousy between Tink and Wendy, but it was always innocent. You really start to fall in love for these characters and become a child again, even though, I've always been one ;). I don't want to give too much away but I highly reccommend it because I absolutely (gosh 4 times I used the word "absolutely"? Really?) loved it but then again, I love everything I see. Right now, I have gone into hermit mode and hid myself away in my room listening to the soundtrack which of course, I love . And I should be getting the book by JM Barrie when school starts. Can't wait to go to another production!!! I'm such a theatre dork.

Yes piano! Pleeeeeease!

Okay, I am on a mission right now. I really Really REALLY with a passion wanna learn to play the piano. So far, all I've done is search on YouTube how to play certain song with Synthesia. I get a little but I can't play chords and play at the same time and I wrote a song on sheet music buuuut... let's just say I'm not quite sure if it's right. I was looking online this evening and found a site called www.RocketPiano.com (I wish I could put a link but I tried and failed AGAIN) and I thought it looked pretty straight-forward. Sooooo check it out real quick and tell me, do you guys think I should buy it???

Dreams Come True...

They do... when you wish upon a star. I just came back from the Happiest Place on Earth. Yup folks, I finally went to Disneyland!!! My mother, sister, and I stayed for six days and I have absolutely no shame in saying I LOVE DISNEY SOOOOOOO MUCH!!!! Disneyland is magical. But, I think only the people who believe can really understand what I'm talkin' about. Once you see the Mickey Mouse in the flowers at the gates of Disneyland, something just changes in you and it gives you the opportunity to enter a world wher you can commonly find a princess, pirate, mermaid, or even a mouse. I am a believer in the Disney Magic. Always have been, and probably always will be. Besides the magic, what about the love? It radiates agains the walls of Disney. Every little sparkle of magic and hope is trapped inside of it. I simply have to get married there. We watched Fantasmic and World of Color for the first time, which was absolutely breathtaking. It choked me up a bit when they played 'So Close' sung by Jon Mclaughlin (don't know what I'm talking about? YouTube it.) If one man could do this... it just gives me such inspiration. I'm gonna go far. I have to! It's what I was meant to do. Even though I always feel I'm going, I'm living... sometimes reality seems so far away. Hey! Just like the lyrics to the song, "So close, yet so far." Believe in the magic, you guys. And don't haunt things against people. Life's too short to spend it upset. Ending on a quote (which I really like to do nowadays) Ahem, perhaps it's familiar,

"To all who come to this happy place; welcome. Disneyland is your land. Here age relives fond memories of the past and here youth may savor the challenge and promise of the future."
-Walt Disney

I think I'm going to paint that in gold in my room =D. Toodle-loo for now!
